Warm and weather proof enough for most occasions here in California, very comfortable and sturdy, with enough room inside for a medium insulating layer.

Quality At A Great Price! By Handyman from Palisade, CO on 09/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautiful jacket. Will wear when the weather cools. Can be worn by itself or as a layer for outdoor activities. As for sleeve length, although they feel long, this is a design common with the better brands to keep you covered up when active.

In a strange way I've been glad, it allows me to wear this shell! 30 mph 50 deg wind didn't faze this shell with a t underneath. Great fit, style and function with the pockets and fleece/mesh lining are really comfortable. Let see how it preforms in the winter with a fleece underneath... For now it's my favorite jacket to put on and kick back out on Lake Monroe at 2 a.m. with some Marcus Aurelius: Meditations
