I have been watching this product since Marmot released it. I was estatic when I saw it come to Sierra in the exact color and size I wanted (Auburn)I am very happy with the coat. I wanted a nice soft shell that was long enough to cover the top of the newer lowrise hiking pants that are out to avoid the gap where snow and cold get in. This fits the bill perfectly. It is nice and light and feels of great quality (as I've found all Marmot products that I have purchased to be) I would not recommend for regular winter wear up here in the North Country as it's suited more to high level activities where your own power keeps you warm but for hiking mountains in the ADK it is just the thing needed. Keeps you dry and protected from the wind on the summits and is light for around your waist or in your pack on the way up. Highly recommended, just can't wait til I can get it out in the snow.
