I LOVE this skirt, fave for running! By Runner Girl from Southeast, FL on 11/19/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wow, I am so surprised to see some negative comments on this skirt! It works for me - and I LOVE it! I have FOUR of them! I'm a marathon runner and I've done a couple of halfs and a full in these.
I'm 32 and I think this skirt looks great on. I don't like things tight on my waist- and this is below my waist. I do think the short skirt is flattering on my worked-hard-for-them runner's legs. I always wear a tank top with it.
It is a fitted skirt and yes, it has a brief under it. So long as you know, that, great. I personally have never had an issue with the brief riding up (finally one that works!). The pocket is perfect- I can fit 3 GUs in there which could get me through a marathon.
I love this skirt - I feel confident and yet still athletic (not toooooo girly) in it.
On the sizing, it fits true to size for me - I generally wear a small and I love the smalls. For reference I'm 5'5", 120lbs.
I came back to buy some for friends for the holidays! For the price, give it a try!
By Saladfool from Chicago, IL on 11/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Fabric, Wrinkle Resistant Cons: Fabric snags easily, Small holes formed Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been running in this skirt for the past two or so weeks (72 miles a week), and it is so comfortable and cute, I don't want to take it off!
I'm 44 years old, and I love how it fits and feels!
The only thing that bothers me is that the cloth snagged with littles holes/tears after only three wearings.
By chefanie from Hollidaysburg PA on 11/07/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Nice Fabric, Wrinkle Resistant Cons: Under pants not as expect Best Uses: Casual Wear, Running Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The skirt is comfortable, with the exception of the underpants. I was expecting shorts and got something much shorter. The skirt does have a side pocket with a velcro closer, which is great for keys, small change, or an I-pod. Love the feel, fit and look.
Best skirt! Use this for tennis. By Sunshine from OC on 08/24/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, High Quality, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Leisure Wear, Tennis Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Sexy, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this skirt - I bought one, then bought another one. I read all of the comments and went a size up. Normally I wear size 4 (small) and I got a medium and love it. I get tons of compliments on this brand (also have one of the dresses). Just know you have to go a size larger and it's what you would expect (from picture).
Very short, for very young women By EB from New York, NY on 08/13/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm an avid runner and love skorts but this one is just too tight and too short for anyone over 30. It would look great on a 16 year-old, but not on a 40 year-old, no matter how great the bod.
By P from Chester Springs, PA on 07/23/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, High Quality, Versatile Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These skirts are great to run in. Extreemly comfortable, cool and quick drying. Colors are difficult to match is my only complaint.
By Tendonitis from OC on 05/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Cons: Slightly too long for run Describe Yourself: Athlete, Casual, Trendy Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I think it's still hard to find a very attractive yet comfortable high quality running skirt around. As a competitive runner, I participate 5K or 10K almost every weekend. I wore this skirt last weekend to run 5K. Very comfortable light weight skirt with cute color, but I wish the length were little shorter (11 to 13") and inner panty were compression shorts.
By la from WI on 04/24/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, High Quality Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a small
Based upon other reviews I bought a large
A medium may have been better, as it is not fitted
However waist is nice, as it does not bind at all
By Hannele from On the trails, CA on 02/21/2008 Pros: Colorful, Cute, Fun and flirty, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Running, Sports Describe Yourself: Fun, Sexy, Stylish, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This brand's website says their products run small- when I sized up from my normal sm to a lg I was happy with this product, although the built-in underwear still feels too small. Love the concept!
This is a Tricky Skirt indeed By RunnerRho from Virginia on 11/08/2007 Length: Feels true to length Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The inner liner is way to small and I am constantly pulling it out of my bum. The waist is also low rise and I feel like my stomach is poking out as well. I would not recommend this skirt for running unless you like to be exposed!
