By Long Time Sierra Trading Post shopper from winston salem NC on 05/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Functional Best Uses: Hiking outdoor actvities Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Occasional hikier Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a pair of convertible pants, and these fit the bill at a good price. I am between a size 8 and 10, and the 10 fit nicely--except the pants are very long even on my long (34 inch inseam) legs. Fine for me, but others will have to hem.

These are so comfortable, and the zips so unobtrusive, that I'd recommend packing light for your next trip and leaving your regular shorts home.
Ex Officio, a superior product By Honey B. from Birmingham, AL on 12/07/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Soft Material, Stain Resistant, Wrinkle-Free Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ex Officio has found a way to take the "leg lump" out of convertible pants. Much better than other leading sports/travel brands. On these you have to look closely to see that there is a zipper. I love this brand!
"Same brand doesn't always fit the same" By Fraulein from Cincinnati, OH on 09/24/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Adventure clothes, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Ex Officio makes a similar pants that is not convertible and it fits great--true to size. The Convertible pant is too tight in the thigh. Somehow the added zipper and stiching reduces the freedom of movement in the leg area. However, the fit on the waist and length of the pant is okay.
