By Meter Reader from Venice, FL on 11/04/2009 Cons: Bulky, Chafes, Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I work for a utility company in FL and have to walk several miles a day. We are required to wear long pants so our company suggested we get this type of nylon pants. I found the pants dried quickly when they got wet which was a plus; but were not breathable so my pants stayed damp all day, causing periodic chafing. Their pullup style was a hassle as the day went on due to the not breathable issue. All in all, my cons outweighed my pros for these pants.
By HikerHay from Carson City, NV on 11/02/2009 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Nicely made pants, but unwearable because leg zippers chafe.
By mjb from Ashevile, nc on 11/02/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants, in addition to not having a fly and being hard to get into or out of, are really noisy. The material has a rough coating on the inside, almost like some waterproof pants. That coating makes walking in them VERY noisy. It also makes then heavy and bulky.
I probably will never use them, but they didn't cost enough to be worth returning. My worst STP purchase.
By Will from San Jose, CA on 10/30/2009 Cons: Bulky, Poor Fit, Poor Material or Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants remind me of the parachute pants everyone had going on in the 90's. I could fit both my legs into one pant leg.
These pants would be great if you were 'heavier' than the usual person. I'm 5'10" 165lbs.
I guess you can say that the price reflects the item.

I will be returning all 3 pair.
