By Elvis has left the building from Rochester, NY on 11/01/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Athlete Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The belt is super stretchy elastic. It is useless and makes an otherwise nice pair of swim trunks pretty much useless. I thought about replacing the belt but the tunnel only takes a 3/4 inch belt and most all of my belts are 1 inch. If you buy these trunks they will end up around your ankles the second they hit the water.
By plum from Sacramento, CA on 10/27/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Lightweight, Soft, Stylish Best Uses: Beach, Casual Swimming, Pool Describe Yourself: Casual Athlete Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased plenty of these so STP wants reviews on each of them. Note that the belt is whimsical and comes apart easily... so, I tied the end into a knot and it can't slip out. Also, note that it is a water short... so no zipper. Ya gotta work around that limitation. The mesh pants, if you're gonna hike with these, which is an OK use of the short, then you might want to wear a thin base underwear. But, if you are going to swim, these shorts are fine the way they are and you can make use of the mesh underwear. Worst case, you can cut out the mesh and wear these as zipperless shorts. The fit is really good.

Absolutely love them. Although a zipper and a better belt would have put these in the "can't-be-beat" category, these are not bad. I don't like mesh undies except for swimming, but these are used for all sorts of outdoors and casual wear... they look great!

Nice Shorts for the money By Back40 from Boston MA on 10/14/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Belt doesnt stay cinched Best Uses: Beach, Camping Fishing, Casual Swimming, Pool Describe Yourself: Casual Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice fit, a bit long but still over all good quality. The belt is going to be an issue. Not cinching well at all. I will need to find an better option to keep them tight around the waste.
Nice shorts for the money.
Nice construction, but runs large By plum from USA on 10/09/2009 Best Uses: Beach, Casual Swimming, Pool Describe Yourself: Casual Athlete Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have other brands of nylon swim pants. These can be used for swimming and travel. Of course, because for swimming, even though you have pockets, if you put heavy or bulky items in the pockets, they will weigh the pants down. The belt is not fitted well and the elastic will drag. The pants run a bit large and baggy-looking and you will hesitate to wear it frequently. Because of this, I had to return mine. But, I am anxious to try a size smaller and see if the fit is less baggy.
