Can't resist the great price so I'll keep them.
By Likes to Travel from CA on 10/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, Washes Well Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The pants were a size 8, but were a little too tight in the waist and back seam in the rise was tight. I usually wear an Ann Taylor size 4 or a Dockers size 6. The color was good. This would be a good pant for travel to a warm climate where you want to wear a pair of long pants.
Perfect cooler weather hiking pants By Mountain flosser from Golden, CO on 09/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Best Uses: Hiking and climbing Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Cloudveil makes really nice stuff so I always look for it at Sierra Traders. They seem to have either made this pant a little smaller than usual, or they have adjusted their general sizing; I usually wear a 10 in their pants, but that was too tight for this model and a 12 fit perfectly. Pants are always too long for me but I can sew so that's no problem.
I don't have much of a waist and it fits me perfectly, but if you are someone with a more typical difference between your hip size and a skinny waist, you may find that CloudVeil in general leaves you with some waistband gap. This is why I stated that the waistband feels big since I think it would for women who are more "female shaped" than I am. I love them though, they really work for me.
They do have a tab system so you can roll up the legs to a high capri length; I think that could be handy on warmer days and I don't find the tabs to be distracting or strange-feeling.

Great for travel, hiking, easy to launde By TravelsLightly from Ohio on 06/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, High Quality, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and climbing, Travel Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sometimes you just need a great travel/hiking pant. This one is SPF (i think). I like Cloudveil better than Garmici because it isn't an elastic waist, so it's more flattering. I normally wear much more stylish clothing, but hiking requires something different.
Beware, pant received not those pictured By Kampmom from Laguna Niguel on 06/01/2009 Cons: Builtin belt not pictured, Poor Fit, runs small, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The pants pictured were not the ones received. There was a built in belt that was not pictured. They run small/snug and ride up in the seat--not pretty or comfortable. Should have heeded other reviews but liked the photo and the price--however, did not receive item pictured and even the price was not worth the hassle or poor fit.
Cloudveil Cool Pants (for Women) By barnaby from boston,ma on 11/07/2008 Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was disappointed in both the fit and the material. The legs were very wide.
Different colors have different styling. By world traveler from new jersey on 07/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Washes Well Best Uses: Comfort-Oriented, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Classic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought 2 pair and they were styled differently. One color had an internal belt and fit well, the other color had no belt and is large in the waist. Since I'm petite, I had to shorten the pants, which is no fault of the manufacturer.
These pants are suitable for rugged use and hot weather. They pack small for travel and dry quickly.
Deep back pockets are useless because you can't sit down with anything in them.
