By KM from Boston MA on 09/13/2009 Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not bulky...carries lots of warmth for the weight...use it for layering in winter and alone in the other seasons. It works very well with the outdoor sports/activity that I do. Fits well so it is not confining but is close fitting enough for layering. I own two of them.

It looks good, fits good and really repels the rain. It also packs well. I initially bought one in an attractive rasberry color and the next year bought the Tide. You really can't go wrong with Marmot, and this jacket in particular.

The red is a bit odd- more of a washed out color, borderingon rose.
The Driclime fabric is great. I've had one for years and found it very useful for cutign wind plus a little warmth.

Perfect Lightweight Jacket By Dad the Gear Expert from Deering, NH on 12/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Well Made Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Perfect lightweight jacket, works as a mid-layer or as an outerlayer in moderate weather as well as drizzle, fog, or snow showers. I bought this jacket for my teenaged daughter. She wears it over her basketball shirt and shorts on her way to and from practice, or when working out. When she wears long underwear underneath the jacket and Dri-Clime pants, it works for running or snow shoeing in cold weather. My wife, my other daughter, my son and myself all own one of these Dri-Clime jackets. Excellent for travel, as it weighs nothing and packs up so small.

I ended up trading the Medium for the Large
By JP from Chandler, AZ on 08/09/2008 Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Eclectic, Sexy, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The description of this jacket was 27" length which is not accurate & shortens to about 22" in front. I don't like the style at all and I am sending it back.
