I haven't had a chance to paddle with it on yet (still a bit too warm for that right now). It is very roomy through the shoulder and chest area which was very important for me because I have very broad shoulders. It is a little difficult to get on/off, but I'd be worried about a splash top that isn't a bit tight around the neck and sleeves. Just don't try to pull it over your head from the waist first and it's fine.

I bought this to replace an older paddling jacket I used to wear on rainy days running my dogs in agility, as a normal rain jacket is too bulky and restrictive to run in. The neck seal allows me to run without a hat or hood, providing a wider range of vision.
