functional and good value By mayanwhitewater from guatemala on 10/31/2009 Cons: Neck gather has poor fit, Not breathable Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This dry top fits me well and stays dry. Don't expect Gore-tex breathability though. Also I find the neck protector not well designed/fitted. Can't beat it for the price though.
By Larry Joy from Crescent City, Ca on 10/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy To Put On And Take Off Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a Kokatat GMer drysuit and sometimes its just a little much on warmer days. This Extrasport drytop and a pair of drypants work great together to keep you dry when kayaking, or running a raft.

The size runs a little smaller than the chart.
Yes it is hard to get over the head and hard to get to get your hands out, but that is too be expected if you want it waterproof.
Overall I would definitely recommend it and buy another.
Excellent value with great performance By Northern Paddler from Wisconsin on 10/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this top for a late fall kayaking trip on Lake Superior. Even with strong cold winds and waves, I was dry and comfortable.
By Why_Wet_Exit from Mesa, AZ on 10/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy To Put On And Take Off Best Uses: Cool-Cold Water, Creeking, Paddling Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This top is great. Some people have voiced concerns about water gathering at the neck but I've had NONE. The neck drains on mine work great, and putting it on and off is very easy. The adjustable waist is so secure that after two hours in class 3-4 creeking the top of my skirt was still dry. Over all PICK THIS UP. You won't be sad. Images shared by: Why_Wet_Exit
By Reedo from Arkansas on 10/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great drytop! Not any harder to get on and off then any other drytop (you just have to cut the gaskets to make them fit...thats what the lines are for the go around the gaskets). I do agree that the second strap around the neck might hold a little water and is a little pointless, but it does have a drain in the front and back that should help.
By Timtern from Poconos PA on 10/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable Cons: Hard To Put On Or Take Off Best Uses: Boating, Colder Water, Paddling, Raft guiding Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this dry top to raft guide on the Lehigh River, works great, wasn't wet at all after I purposely took a faceplant into the river off my raft
By Bayyakker from San Francisco Bay Area on 10/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Put On And Take Off Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This top was an incredible deal and is better quality than tops I have purchased for more than twice what I paid for this one. It's definitely comfortable and easy to put on and take off for a dry top, although the breathability (like every top I've tried) could be better. Seals well with my spray skirt. I intend to pair this with dry pants for an economical "dry solution" for my sea kayaking needs.
great top and great price By DecomposedGranite from San Jose, CA on 10/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Put On And Take Off Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have two Extrasport drytops and wanted this one for my son. He loved it! The gaskets were sized nicely and the material is stretchy and light. He was totally dry after 6 hours on the river and dozens of rolls. I'm thinking daddy needs one too!
