By saxboda from Northern California on 08/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Stylish, Washes Well Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a big Gramicci fan and have not worn jeans in years. I only wear their shorts, and these were purchased specifically to visit a theme park while on vacation. They performed beautifully and were very comfortable - even as the temperature approached 100. Had I gone on a water ride, they would have dried quickly, too. Great shorts.
Great fabric, but odd cut By Camper & city slicker from Philadelphia PA on 06/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Washes Well Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Grammici bottoms are great when they fit properly. This pair doesn't, even though I have another pair of Gramicci shorts that are very similar. There's a pouch of fabric just below the waist in back that makes these shorts very unflattering.

Comfy, nice material. Belt is a little problematic, bunches up at back, but learning to adapt.

By Moab-hikier from Fort Collins, CO on 06/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These were useful, but not flattering. I returned them. I could have fit a diaper in the bubble they created.
By Peanuts from Victorville,CA on 06/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Washes Well Best Uses: beach, Camping, Casual Wear, Cleaning, Gardening, Pool side, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these shorts to see if the quick dry feature would allow me to be more comfortable in the heat of summer here in the Mojave Desert. These Gramicci shorts are light weight and I never felt wet, sweaty or grundgy the days I wore them. The material seems to breath so that my waist, low back, thighs were always dry. Typically, in the past, at some point in the day, my short's waist band was wet, not damp. Even the lightest shorts felt like insulators. These shorts are comfortable to wear, & work in and at the end of the day I'm not peeling my shorts of my body, YAHOO. If you suffer from hot flashes, excessive sweating or live in very hot areas, you need to try these shorts. They look good with a cute top, but still allow freedom of movement. I want to get tops, pants and underwear also.
For the price, couldn't go wrong. By Yosemite camper from St. Louis, MO on 06/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable, good fit. Didn't like the belt. No easy release and had to loosen manually when putting on or taking off.
By Happy to be out and about! from Kansas City on 05/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Washes Well Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these after buying a pair of their long pants in the same fabric. The shorts are not quite as comfy as the long pant and feel a little restrictive in the legs for climbing. But nonetheless, they're great!

By Carrie from Missouri on 05/13/2008 Cons: Chafes, Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Gramicci clothing, but these fit a little snug. The size chart had said 6-8 small and I wear an 8, but was disappointed with the fit. I had bought abother pair that were similar in a medium and they were huge on me. I guess I didn't find my happy medium. Either way, they're comfortable and always reliable in wear.
