By busy mother from Carrolltown, PA on 11/13/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This sweater was very pretty, but way out of proportion unless you are a taller person. Sleeves and body of sweater extremely long. Fabric was very soft, but seemed thin.
By Alicia from Clearlake, CA on 11/11/2009 Pros: FITS OVER MY BLAZER, Flattering, GOES WITH MY WARDROBE, Great Color, Lightweight, Soft, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got complements immediately when I put it on. it is thin but warm. . I have used it when I teach and have to be with the children on the playground in the chilly morning. I got the size medium because I wanted to layer underneath. The small would have probably fit but might have been snug in places. I didn't want to take that chance. I am a muscular size 8 34b top and 5'1'. It is a longer hip length sweater on me. Because it is longer and not snug, I discovered it fit over my blazer and looks alright. It might look a little "school marm" but then thats what I am. I have the glasses and everything =) This alpaca sweater is soft, and doesn't itch me. The primary blue and brown tones will go with almost my whole wardrobe. I like the pattern on the sleeves. There is a small yarn/ knitting flaw on the pocket that I will have to repair soon. I still really like the sweater!
Very long--good for tall people By Gail of Iowa from Iowa on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Lightweight, Soft, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: As noted by other reviewers, this sweater is long. It has a couple of pockets in the front, for which I had to bend over a bit to reach. The length also meant the sleeves were very long. Tall people--this one's for you. Ultimately, I had to return this item because the sewing on the zipper was defective. I did not want a replacement.
By Port Hope from Clinton Township, MI on 10/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, Lightweight, Soft, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This sweater is very comfortable over a turtleneck and goes with lots of colors. I found the fit to be a bit more boxy than the picture would indicate. I usually wear a size 8 and the medium is roomy.
For Broad-shouldered, short women By Small L from Oakland, CA on 10/18/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The arms of the sweater are short compared to the width of the shoulders. The wide shoulders in relation to the shorter arms and body length make the drape of the sweater unflattering unless you are a broad shouldered short person.
