I have a narrow heel which causes most shoes to slip. The Teva hugs my heel and stays put. I did not care for the insert that came with the shoes, so used my own generic orthotic. It's a cute shoe, especially if you like orange.

Very cute shoe!

Teva X-1 Evolution is a great solid shoe By Hailey Nadia from Hailey, ID on 11/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this shoe for trail running and it definitely fits the bill. It has great traction, is lightweight, and while the color is a bit much at forst, it definitely gets noticed. The only con is that the shoes don't have much stability. That said, some of the terrain I run on makes me wonder if any shoe would be super stabile. I think the flexibility and lightweight aspects more than make up for the lack of stability.

Comfortable Colorful Shoes By jgw-CapHill from Seattle, WA on 10/30/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I confess that I bought these shoes because they are orange. I have now worn them for hours at a time. They are very comfortable, supportive, and I think I will likely use them for walking and casual, sustained activity. I have not tried running in them. I generally only buy Brooks for running.
By Mary Alice from Kansas on 10/24/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are nice looking shoes and are comfortable for street wear. They do not have the padding and shock absorption I would want in trail running shoes. I do agility training with my dog, and I will wear them for that.

My second pair of Teva's. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. Definately worth the $$$.
By wilson from northwestern Indiana on 10/05/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased this shoe because it was a hot deal and I liked the look. I get lots of compliments on the color. Great offroad running shoe. Very comfortable and great shock absorber for my heals. Not great on asphalt or slick surfaces if doing more than walking or running pretty straight. Played volleyball in these. Pretty easy on the feet, though not a court shoe.
