Incredibly HUGE.
By MrodaddyVerified Reviewer from Charlotte, NC on 11/05/2009
Describe Yourself:
Competitive Cyclist
Sizing:
Feels full size too big
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Am 5'11" and 165 lbs. Have trail runner/cyclist legs that are fairly large in proportion to my body. Bought these in a medium thinking they'd be snug, but that I'd prefer tight to loose. I could probably fit both legs into them. They're HUGE. My 45 lb dog could wear one as a sweater. Can't speak to performance, but sizing is completely insane.

WAY too big
By LyisVerified Reviewer from Salem, Oregon on 10/15/2009
Pros:
Comfortable, Warm
Describe Yourself:
Avid Cyclist
Sizing:
Feels full size too big
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I ordered these for my husband who normally wears a large in cycling gear. They were so loose that, even when he tucked them well under his bike shorts, they would just slide right down. Had to return them.

I went on a 150 mile ride this weekend and it stormed. Thunder, lightening, rain, hail, wind, etc. The leg warmers kept me nice and warm the whole ride. I never took them off and they never really felt wet. I almost didn't buy these but I'm sure glad I did.

Sizing:

I would order a size down at least. I found that the Large was still to big and even loose on a 6' 200lb guy with large thighs. Otherwise very good product.

Comments:
I used these in a 60deg ride with rain for 26 miles. Works well. Did not interfere with movement. I followed the advice of the previous reviewer and purchase a small even when the sizing recommeded a large. Good advice, and good product. Watch the sizing.

By FippoVerified Reviewer from Phoenix on 01/31/2008

Cons:

Describe Yourself:
Avid Cyclist
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:

Comments:
These are good for general use. They're not going to keep you very warm in really cold weather but they weren't meant to. I used them for biking and hiking and they work well. Just keeping my knees warmer causes less fatigue. SIZE IS IMPORTANT... my legs measure 18" around (about 4" above the knee) and 14.5" around (about 4" below the knee). I got the medium and I should have gone with the small.
