Length is great and doesn't come up that much when sitting. The fabric is soft. The streach is OK almost too much. I don't have to unbutton them to pull them off and they are a size smaller than I wear. So pros and cons?!

Pants that embraced this area were plentiful and attractive (witness Lucille Ball & Katherine Hepburn). Today even pants that sit at the 'natural waist' have the top of the waistband hitting the navel.
Dear fashion industry: Can anything be done to manifest manufacture of even 5% of your women's pants and shorts with a real waistband at the real waist? I'm sure there's a profit in it. I can't be the only one. Respectfully and desperately submitted.

The shorts do fit but they fall on my hips and that feels a little odd. I ordered the stone color and the fabric is a little sheer. This may come in handy when the summer temps hit the triple digits so I'm not complaining. Will have to be careful with undergarment color. Otherwise they do fit well, are flattering and are true to length.
