No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was hoping these pants would be great for traveling to warm places. I KNOw Barbour. But these were kind of cheesy, not like linen at all, shiny chintz-like fabic was not appealing.

This is a great product and a great buy. the problem was the confusion between the UK size and the US size. I ordered a size 8 for my wife and when it came it was a UK 8 which, of course,was way too small. On the exhange which was over the telephone the lady agreed to send out two pairs in size 10--and that is what was received but a UK 10 is a US 6. Your site does describe both systems but nevertheless I missed the difference.
