By Puchee from Sunny Florida on 10/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Stylish Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Gorgeous pants - but way too small. I ordered a UK size 16 (US 12) - I wear a Talbots size 10P and an Ann Taylor size 10. These pants were so snug in the hips and thighs they were obscene. Also, the waist was large - but I have a particularly small waist so that might not matter to some. I wish they had fit! If you have a more straight body style with few curves, these should do well. Remember to order UP.

By active jane from Campbell, CA on 04/15/2009 Cons: Legs very tight, Poor Fit, Waist too big for rest Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These corduroy jeans had strange proportions. I am slim with a boyish build but the waist was an inch or two too big while the legs were very tight in the thighs. I can't imagine who would have the type of shape that these pants would fit. Perhaps if you were very slender with a long waist to crotch length, you might be able to wear them lower than I can and the waist would sit on your hips.
By Kate from Chardon, Ohio on 03/22/2009 Pros: Great Color, High Quality Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I never actually wore these. I ordered what I thought was my size, but was actually British size 12, which is about a US size 8.
By Geology Professor from NW Chicago Burbs on 02/10/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Whoa! I ALWAYS wear a size 6, regardless of the pants/jeans cut, and I own many pairs of good quality (Calvin Klein, etc.) fitted jeans. I couldn't even pull these pants up all the way, what to speak of zipping them!
I would say that they were more like 2 sizes too small. Really a disappointment, and they will be going back.
By KMag from Lexington KY on 12/16/2008 Pros: Great Color, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I first ordered the size 12(UK) b/c I have another pair or Barbour cords that I love that size and they fit perfect. These were skin tight so I ordered the 14(UK) and they were super tight too but gapped at the waist. I normally wear a size 6(US)
By likes classics from Columbus, Ohio on 11/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Great for narrow hips, High Quality, Stylish Cons: Could do without spandex Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For one with slim hips, these pants are great.
The spandex "sets" the knees, which is a pity.
can't judge a book by it's cover By belle1 from Newcomb, NY on 11/08/2008 Cons: Does not run true to size, Size 10 still quite tight, Size 8 felt more like a 4 Best Uses: But not comfortably, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: will not order that brand again[...]
By jc from Harpswell, Maine on 03/12/2008 Best Uses: Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The reviewer who said to order 2 sizes bigger was probably right. I ordered one size bigger, and the waist was too big (and I have a big waist) but the rest was way too tight.
Sizing is totally misleading By Unhappy Camper from Baltimore, MD on 03/08/2008 Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Eclectic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I don't know who "translated" the British sizes into American, but a Size 14 in these pants wouldn't fit a Size 10.
