I bought this product twice By Hiking Oldie from Australia on 11/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Long hikes Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For years I have been using heavyweight Scarpa boots for hiking in Australia, New Zealand and Europe, but decided after my last 12 day walk in Switzerland that I needed a lighter boot to reduce my overall carry weight. This boot suits perfectly, is extremely light and comfortable, sturdy enough for general mountain walking, but will probably not give me the same years of service that my previous boots have.

Replacing 18 year old Vasque boots By CB from Michigan on 10/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Cons: Bit stiff around the top Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear an exact size 11. Usually shoes are short at this end of the spectrum, but I was very happy to find that this hiking boot fit perfectly! The top edge of the boot is a bit stiff but very padded.
By Almost Happy Feet from Colorado on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Cons: Needs better footbed Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My first day in these boots involved 4 miles and 1500 ft elevation gain/loss. I have narrow feet. The entire bottoms of both feet felt raw afterwards from the footbed (hard, rough), but my usual blister hot spots (heels, toes) from prior boots over the years were happy. With the right footbed (more cost to me) to correct the width and hardness/roughness, this will be a good boot for me.
