Excellent backpacking pack By Amber from Upstate New York on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good Padding, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Best Uses: Day Hikes, Extended Hikes Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: What makes this pack especially great is the way the back piece arches away from your back to provide a space for air to flow and cool you off (the "Jet Stream"). The weight is nicely distributed onto your hips. Everything is wonderfully adjustable and really does fit better than mens' packs. I hardly felt the pack after many days on the trail. I pack on the light size but am certainly not an ultralight hiker. The fabric is strong, water resistant, everything is very well made, there are many pockets for organization.
The one minor thing I don't like about the pack is the water bottle holders that don't keep 32 oz bottles in very well. It makes up for it in that is is compatible with a hydration reservoir (not included).
I take a size M and am 5'6". Recently used this on a week on the Appalachian Trail. I carried cold weather gear (nights were below 30' F), fuel, stove, 3-4 days of food, half of a tent. A great deal!!

Mainly using this product for clothing. Perfect size for me since I am only 5' and 110 lbs. The pack fits perfectly comfortable.
