Doc says New Balance are basically the only company that makes great shoes for my problem. I have a pair of the black 844's for work, a pair of 1010's for walking/running daily (ugly big soles but great for my need, and these 854's which look great for my casual wear! A little tight in width but already breaking in comfortably after 3 wears.

This particular pair felt too narrow, although I always order the same width and have no problem.
