Comments:
I needed a pair of motion control tennis shoes to wear at all times due to my plantar fascitis. Doc says New Balance are basically the only company that makes great shoes for my problem. I have a pair of the black 844's for work, a pair of 1010's for walking/running daily (ugly big soles but great for my need, and these 854's which look great for my casual wear! A little tight in width but already breaking in comfortably after 3 wears.

Sizing not dependable on this style
By ET, Nana who walks and runsVerified Reviewer from Athens, GA on 04/22/2008
Pros:
Stability control
Cons:
Hot
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Sizing:
Feels half size too small
Width:
Feels too narrow
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I bought these shoes for their stability control. However, I decided they might be too hot for the summer, so I plan to return them. This particular pair felt too narrow, although I always order the same width and have no problem.
