Well made- sizing is odd! By Snow Queen from Vermont on 01/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, High Quality Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work pants Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Classic, Eclectic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these for my husband. We live in rural Vermont,
and with the cold winters, flannel-lined pants and jeans are the way to go when involved in outdoor activities--like shoveling snow!
We ordered a size up in waist and length as recommended, since the description said that they ran small.
Well- they turned out to be too big-- waist slightly, and length by enough to need turning up into a cuff quite a bit. The crotch area was also way to long, and they seemed cut quite oddly.
We returned them and decided not to venture trying a smaller size,
since the cut seemed out of proportion.
We have been very pleased with all our other purchases from Sierra!

The pants seem to not stay up and I am constantly puling them up, even with a belt.

He loves them. The catalog is right, they do run small. I buy them one size bigger and when you wash them they do shrink. We will see what happens this year for I bought 2 pairs for our tall son 6'4" and 1 pair for our short son 5'5". So we will see after the product washes and how they like them.
