Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are not high tech hiking pants, but at times Ilike something a little more substantial than high tech nylon hiking pants, and these fit the bill. I like them for camping and short hikes and general exploring around the forest.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn these for years on my trips to Alaska. The stiching seems t be of less quality. These need a "cargo" pocket to keep you from loosing things out of the pockets. Other than this, I love these pants.

I have two pair I bought years ago that I've worn so much they have holes all over the place. I was so happy to see these available again.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love everything about these pants except the belt buckle, which won't hold the belt tight. I use a medium-size metal binder clip to hold the belt against the waistband, which solves the problem if you don't mind looking a bit dorky.
