By crazy lady from pa. on 08/08/2008 Pros: Good Price, High-Quality Material and Stitching Cons: Bulky, Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Need to be sold as a 12tall[definitely to long for a 12regular]. Cotton too heavy for summer hiking and backpacking, takes forever to dry. I'll try them in the cooler months to see if they work out better.
a little too snug, but still very useful By Dee from Baltimore, MD on 07/22/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are a little too heavy and snug at the waist to be perfect. But I like them just fine and bring them along whenever I go camping and hiking. They are nice to have for variable weather, because they aren't super lightweight but the shorts are bearable if the sun starts baring down. For the price, a good deal.
By Coppertop from Wake Forest, NC on 07/14/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great price, fit great---room for movement.
By JR from Sacramento, ca on 06/13/2008 Cons: Bulky, Poor Material or Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I hate these and will be returning them. Now what I expected. Very heavy and run small.
By Summer campground dweller from Oregon on 05/30/2008 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Stylish Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are exactly as described. They are not for a 100 degree summer day or as a quick-dry option. They are a tough, camping type of pant. Not as heavy as work pants, nor as light as twill slacks. A middle weight canvas.
By Retired Darlene from El Cajon, CA on 05/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Haven't used these pants on the trail yet. However, I was very pleased with the feel of the fabric (cotton) and they fit nicely. Plenty of useful pockets. The zippers worked smoothly and I was able to get the legs off & on easily. The shorts look great!
The pant legs are wider than I like, but that's probably good for scrambling boulders. They will need hemming.
These are better looking (and made) than some pants I've tried on at much higher prices!
Product not true to sizing chart. By Gorilla-Girl from Missouri on 05/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This product would have been just what I'd wanted, had the sizing been correct. I think these pants in particular just run a size smaller than listed!
Great for cool weather outdoors By sailing girl from Delaware on 05/24/2008 Pros: Heavier weight material, High-Quality Material and Stitching Cons: Snug fit in hips waist Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my summer in Alaska. I like the roominess in the legs but they sit a little lower than I expected and needed to be hemmed. The elastic sides help in the sizing. There is no stretch to them so be honest in your size ordering!

Legs wide enough to slip over low top hiking boots.
By safari gal from Vicenza, Italy on 05/21/2008 Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally wear a size 12 and these are way too small. The style looks nice, but will not fit me. I am returning them.
