By Hiking NC from Charlotte, NC on 05/30/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved the product -- lightweight, convertible -- but I ordered a men's size hoping for a longer length for my nearly 6' frame and this product didn't provide it.

By Buffalo Rose from Mount Angel, Oregon on 05/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these pants especially to wear under chest-high stocking-foot waders, thinking: "lightweight & I can zip off the lower leg if I need to." But they are so soft and flexible that they fit comfortably without removing the lower legs. They are perfect.

Lightweight, convenient, versatile By I Heart Mountains from Lexington, KY on 05/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When backpacking or hiking you've got to have a pair of convertible pants. They are very lightweight and will not be uncomfortable with a backpack waist belt. The legs zip off for the warmer afternoons or whenever you break a sweat. Have belt loops and elastic in the waist for comfort. They are regular old hiking pants that you can wear for practically any activity.
Definitely more utility than style.
They run two sizes too small. I'm 6'4" and they are considerably too short as well...which prevents me from wearing them as pants off the trail, but comes in handy when the creek is up;-)!

Pant leg large enough to accomodate hiking boots. Very lightweight and packable.
