Sportif USA Sahara Conv. Pants for Men By Judy from North Fort Myers, FL on 07/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We purchased size 42 and they were way too big. We then exchanged for a 40 and they are still a slight too big. My husband wears a 42 in all other trousers.
The quality of the pants is very good and we would definitely buy them again.
Okay, not the best quality. By denim dan from jackson, wy on 07/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Packable Cons: Poor Material or Construction Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable, the crotch ripped right below the zipper despite the gusseted design. The zip offs are difficult to get over my boots. Overall these pants are not for very trying activities like mountaineering/bouldering/climbing. They are better suited for casual hikes or casual camping.
Great pants, hope the fly zipper holds up By Lewis from Raleigh, NC on 07/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Convertible, Packable, Resistand to tears Cons: Zipper failed last pair Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel, Work in field Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great pants, useful when in different conditions within one day's time. Fly zipper on first pair broke and was not repairable. STP was more than willing to provide return shipping, a replacement pait, and $10 gift card. Hopefully there will be no problems with this pair, because I loved the first pair until the fly broke.
By vocalease from Castro Valley, CA on 06/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The pants are light, sturdy and comfortable. At first I was aware of the covered zipper where pants attach by my thigh, but got used to it in a minute. Once I'm into the activity I don't notice at all.

Been looking for these everywhere! By outkast134 from Pewaukee, WI on 05/31/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Packable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The inseam when converted to shorts is only 10". Give you a bit of a 'daisy dukes' feeling. If the zip off was closer to the knee where the inseam would be longer they would be more comfortable.
Overall pleased with the product though. Its hard to find convertible pants in retail stores, and for all the running around I do its nice to not have to lug around extra clothes.
