Actually 100% cotton. A little non-breathable and heavy for my taste. Nice on mild days. Not so nice on hot days.

Just what I was looking for! By golfguy from San Ramon, CA on 04/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually go out golfing early when it is cool so these pants are great in the fall and spring. As it warms up, I prefer to be wearing shorts so it only takes a few seconds to remove the lower portion of the pants and be able to play more comfortably.
By Weekend WArrior from Bremerton WA on 04/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable Cons: Average Construction, Small pockets Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Price is right. Contruction is average. Just as other have said they do fit a little large in the waist due to the elastic. If you're like me and tend to eat more when camping then at home then this is kind of pro.
