By Jay from Kennesaw, GA on 04/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Packable Cons: Materialdesign too light, No zip on leg to remove Best Uses: Backpacking, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For the money the pants are GREAT! The material is a little light and I would not expect them to last very long. I would also like to see zips onthe legs to make removeal easier.
By Lucy's mom from West Point, GA on 04/14/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: will have to return them (bought 2 pair in different colors). They were too short and with the fabric being 100% cotton, they're bound to become even shorter after a few washes. Too bad, otherwise they were perfect.

Great for climate changes. By the missionary from New York on 04/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Packable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Worn in Africa with legs on in am and dusk when the bugs were out the most and during the heat of the day just zipped the legs away.
By hiking the foothills from Boulder, CO on 04/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great for cooler hiking, High-Quality Material and Stitching Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these for my husband to wear for hiking. The pants are good for hiking when the weather is transitioning from cooler weather, but I thought the fabric is quite heavy. It also does not seem as though it would breath well for warmer months. That said, the quality is very good.

Convertible pants that aren't nylon! By Joplin shopper from Southwest Missouri on 03/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Fishing, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Finally found convertible pants with some elastic in the waist that aren't nylon. They seem to be great quality. The waist runs maybe a tiny bit big. Not thin cotton, so not for the hottest days.
Can't wait to wear in Glacier! By Stu from Greenville, WI on 03/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm 6'2" about 185 lbs I ordered the 34" waist and they fit perfect. Price was right at about 60% off and thought I would try a pair. I actually bought three pair. I would pay full price for another. My biggest fear was a poor zipper construction. Not with this pants. This pair is light weight and I feel if they get wet from the morning dew, will dry out in short amount of time early on in the hike. Because of the thin material, I would not wear in cooler weather.
