Great Carhart Jeans - runs a bit small By Sanilac County Princess from The Thumb of Michigan on 04/22/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, High Quality Material, Holds Color Well, Versatile Style Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Wear Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband usually wears relaxed fit Carharts. I ordered these in same size. Found the Traditional Fit Carharts run about 2 inches smaller in the waist. He normally wears a 40 waist in relaxed.. returning these for a 42. Length is same. Otherwise, he really likes the jeans.

Better than [...], maybe even Levis By Handyman from Truckee, CA on 04/08/2009 Pros: Durable, High Quality Material Cons: Rather have boot cut, Seat seems a little full Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a pair of pants at [...] recently and compared their wear to my standby Levi's. The [...] pants had developed tear holes around the back pockets within about 8-12 washes. The Levi's are still going after dozens of washes. I can tell these Carhartt's are much better quality and I'm guessing possibly better than my standby Levi's. It might be time to switch if I can find a good bootcut version.
Quality Yet Less Than Perfect Execution By Bladerunner2 from Pacific NW on 04/08/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, High Quality Material, Versatile Style Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Eclectic, Sexy Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Great all purpose wear, but sizes on label, are inconsistent to true cut of garment. I bought these large, since earlier buy, of Carhartt, was way small. These are way big in waist compared to that standard, and inseam is at least 2" longer than any other pants I own. These are sold as 2nds, but variance in size is dramatic. I can roll up the cuff and cinch up the waist to get by, but they are to big to look good. I don't know what size to order next. Good heavy material, proper faded look, seem durable. If they fit better, I'd be happy.
