Put your knee pads between the layers to keep the bruises minimal while installing flooring or trim, like baseboards.
The Only Pants You Ever Need By Robert Simpson from Modesto, CA on 12/27/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality Material, Tough as Nails, Versatile Style Best Uses: Bushwacking, Casual Wear, Going Out, heavy duty work pants, Work, Work Wear Describe Yourself: Backpacker, Comfort-oriented, Conservative, work outdoors, Working manown style Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought my first pair of the Logger Jeans at my local Carharrt dealer, because [...] didn't have my size. Well, they finally got it in, and I had to order a second pair, especially at half the price of the regulars.I've used these pants on the farm, in construction, and on hikes of not too long. I wouldn't backpack in these, but I would do weekends with them. The more worn out they get, the comfier they get to be for travel pants. All the pockets you need. At first I missed my cargo pockets, but cargo pockets are no good for knives and hammers and other tools. You adapt, and learn to carry a backpack, if you're one of the Cargo-pocket addicts. And once you do adapt, you get a lot less things lost. These are just as good as the others I've been wearing for 3 months. And I do mean I've been wearing them for three months. They're everyday jeans, and they'll last for years. They get to be just as comfy as your favorite Levis, but they're made of higher quality, in better working conditions, and they last much, much longer. Buy, and never look back.
This is an important piece of clothing f By Big Dave from Pawling NY on 12/25/2007 Pros: High Quality Material Describe Yourself: Outdoorsman Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This product is great for landscaping, it holds tools and is rugged.
By Mtnsmith from NC mountains on 12/20/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality Material, Holds Color Well, Versatile Style Describe Yourself: Contractor, No-nonsense, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love these jeans; the double fabric allows them to last much longer for guys who work outdoors every day. Carhartt seems to have odd sizing; my husband has worn 32x32 jeans for the last 20 years, but in Carhartt he wears 34x30. Not a problem once you figure out what size to order.
By DSiggy from Maine on 11/13/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Cons: Low Quality Material Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: THird time I had ordered several pairs. This time, All pairs had the rear pockets ripping out next to the rivets. The material seemed to be thinner or not able to hold up to only a wallet while working in a full range of movement enviroment. I will buy again hoping this was just a one time "Bad Batch."
