FOr the last few years the *only* pants I've bought for casual wear have been Carhartt and these are the toughest they make.
After I wash them they stand in the corner waiting for the next time I wear them.
I've worn out two pair over the years mixing cement and milling timber and there are no better made. Worth twice the price.

They are pretty stiff when new though. They seem to run a bit larger than the stated size, but I believe they will shrink when laundered - so no problem!
