Make sure to size them appropriately. I wear a 32 in carhartt pants, but needed a 31 in the shorts.
The primary reason I purchased these is versatility. I can work, ride, climb, go to the bar, etc... and never need to swap shorts. Just like all good carhartts, they do take some time to break in.

I live in shorts almost year round, and I've yet to have a pair of these fall apart. The legs don't fray, and the pockets don't tear or get caught in brush. For the price, you can't beat them.
