By Short-timer from Athens, GA on 03/07/2009 Cons: Cheap Material, Irregular Fit, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Classic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a pair of blue capris to replace my worn out ones. These were too small, a strange cut and the fabric is not of a natural fiber for sure. I was ok with the velcro, but the overall fit was terrible.
By B from PA on 01/31/2009 Pros: Great Color, Quality Material Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Classic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Size runs small, fabric was very comfortable, didn't like the velcro closure design, had to return.
Fabric gets LOTS of static cling By Stephanie from Santa Barbara, CA on 12/30/2008 Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The material feels good to the touch but then when I put these pants on, they have more static than any other item of clothing I have ever owned. I keep washing them, and trying it again, and it is totally laughable. I finally took them out running in a rainstorm, and they stopped clinging to my legs after about 20 minutes. When I say "clinging", I mean that 80% of the fabric of the pants is plastered to my legs, the whole time I wear them. I wonder if the people who like these pants use a heavy duty fabric softener or something else that stops them from doing this thing. Maybe so. But I'm not going to change my laundry products just to make these pants wearable!
By Mombodoc from Rockford, IL on 11/09/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Quality Material, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Active, Classic, Professional woman Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Already a favorite. Well-made, nice, flattering fit. These can go from trail to boardroom with a change in top and footwear. I had some concern about the velcro fly at first - but it works fine.
weird fabric, lots of velcro By Hiker chick from Cambridge, MA on 08/15/2008 Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Eclectic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned these capris. The fabric is a bit strange-- sort of heavy and loud/ swishy, with a "peached" exterior that creates friction with itself. Also, the "touch fly" just means that the whole fly is velcro. That's great, if you like snags all over your underwear. They didn't fit very well either and didn't have much stretch for movement.
By Libby from Traverse City, MI on 08/05/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Quality Material, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great fit, easy care, very versatile styling. This is my second pair of capri's in this style, and I also own 4 pairs of the shorts. They are perfect and so comfortable!

A little big at the top, but not the waist. Not really an issue, I'll keep them and don't know that I'd order down a size. Nice color, too (the blue). Quality I expect from Patagonia at a GREAT price!
