In this region the temperature can rise above 110 degrees in the summer, so cool, light clothing is essential. Right now the temperature here ranges from about 40-50 degrees when I ride, and I'm very comfortable wearing this jersey over a light, long-sleeve base-layer shirt. In the summer, the style and the lightweight fabric will be as good as it gets.
Fit: I'm 5'3 and size 6. I bought a medium jersey and it's slightly loose on me. I considered exchanging it for a small, but I decided that the loose fit would be cooler in the summer. The length is perfect for me, but would probably be too short for taller riders (especially considering that I ordered a medium).

I was going to return this jersey because it's short, but then decided to keep it because I really don't care if it doesn't cover the top of my shorts in back while cycling - will keep me cooler in the summer. Haven't warn it yet, since the weather is too cold now.
