By love to bike from Tampa, Florida on 10/21/2009 Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ride greater than 100 miles per week and like to try different shorts for comfort purposes. These were chaffing me by the end of a 30 mile ride. I will continue to use them for short rides but not for long. I was expecting a little more from the Canari Pro Shorts.

By Biker Mom of Biker Sonsx3 from Wausau, WI on 08/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding, Great Fit Best Uses: Long Rides, Road Biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these bike shorts for my 17 year old son. He loves them, loves the fit, and thinks the padding is the best he has tried. I ordered another pair of bike shorts in the same order (with a gel padding) but he likes these far better.
comfortable, but sized too big By SoCalOutdoors from Burbank, CA on 08/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding Best Uses: Long Rides, Road Biking, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shorts are very comfortable. They are not like the usual cycling short in that the finish is not "lycra shiny;" they look like regular cloth. Personally, I think it's a nice change.
The shorts are sized much too large in the seat when compared to the waist. I have a 32" waist, which puts me in a size M, but the shorts were falling off me in that size (the legs were comfortably snug.) I moved to a S, and now the fit is a little tight, but not bad.

By kayakequinox from Greenville, SC on 07/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding Best Uses: Long Rides, Road Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these for my bro who is a budding road biker and will soon compete in a triathlon. After wearing gym shorts on the road bike, wearing these made a big difference! He said it made "things" more comfortable. I noted the inseams had been moved to the back near butt area-because of this there was little friction going & therefore no rash between the thighs. The crotch pad was big, 8 shaped, but not so bulky it poked out in the front or back. The way it was sewn into the pants gave it that attribute-good quality and foresight on the part of the manufacturer!Price seemed high to me, even at half-off ([$]). I don't price men's bike shorts often so I'm not sure where this one lies in the price ranges out there. All in all, the shorts made for a more comfortable ride, were of good quality and for that I am happy.
soft padding, maybe too soft By Dudley Platypus from Detroit, MI on 07/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly Best Uses: Road Biking, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shorts part of the shorts are very nice: fabric is good, and the cut feels right. The chamois is a little odd. I would have preferred a denser, less cushy pad. Also, and I'm not quite sure how to state this, but there is no crease in the center of the chamois, which makes it feel like there is a little platform between your legs. This makes the shorts feel a bit funny off the bike, although it is not noticeable on the bike

By Mark from Oklahoma on 06/17/2009 Best Uses: Long Rides, Road Biking, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They seem a bit short on the length from the crotch up - my regular bike jerseys gap up when wearing these things. Good padding, though.
