By Biker Chic from Michigan on 10/31/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered XL first and the leg silicon bands were way too large, so went to a L and all is good. Guess that means the size is a little big as I wear XL in other brands.

By Going biking from Juneau, Alaska on 09/08/2009 Cons: Irregular Fit, Not Enough Padding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I only tried these on and never used them. My biggest complaint is fit - and that is different for every person. I usually seem to be between a medium and a large. I ordered large because i don't like things really tight around my waist. The large was the right size everywhere except that the bottoms of the legs were a good inch or more too big, not even touching, let alone gripping, around my thighs. The padding wasn't as much as I would have liked. My husband ordered a pair of Pearl Izumi cycling shorts at the same time and the difference in quality was huge. The fabric seemed to be a higher quality and there was a lot more padding. In the end, he ordered a second pair of his and I returned mine. Fit is so personal though - if these fit you, they are probably a decent, average pair of cycling shorts.
