The padding was sufficient, but I don't they'd be good for a full day of cycling, but for short rides they are pretty good.

I ride an average of 100 miles a week. These Shorts don't protect the soft tissue the way I expected them to. So I had to go out and purchase an other pair with more gel in all the right places. I do wear them in short rides when the other pair are drying out.

Seem lighter weight so nice for the hotter weather of summer. Padding very comfortable, the reason I wear bike shorts for everything on a bike!
