Oh, where has the quality gone? By Get out and play from Seattle on 01/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Padding Best Uses: Commuting, Long rides, Mountain Biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I own several pairs of Canari shorts and was looking to pick up a couple more pairs for summer, but was very disappointed when these arrived. The legs are really stretched out where they stitched the elastic to the leg opening so the elastic doesn't even touch my thighs. It's sad that the quality has gone downhill with this brand.

By Julie from Lawrenceville, GA on 12/12/2008 Cons: Not what i needed, Too Much Padding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the product was fine i'm sure for a cyclist but i needed it for my mother. she walks and needs one with the leg grippers but not the padding. i called back to see if you had one but the agent told me no. the description did not state padding so didn't know until i got them.
By Janet from Ohio on 12/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just roll the leg hem twice to eliminate the "ruffling" of the elastic opening and also hide the elastic. This is my second pair - first pair became my favorite bike shorts. Good fit, opaque fabric, comfortable to wear. I geneally wear through a pair of bike shorts per season, so I grabbed this second pair for a dependable short at a great price.
"would recommend product and [...]" By Robin--exercise enthusiast from Albion, NY on 12/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...] the short itself is extremely comfy!
Good product for the price By Canyonjo from Boulder, CO on 12/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The legs so seem a little loose, as others have observed, but this is advantageous for my middle aged thighs. They do stay put but don't disfigure my thigh chub. The finish could be better (clipping threads), but the padding is good for the gym, the fabric seems good and the waist fit is perfect.
Nothing Special about these shorts By Anne from Lafayette, CO on 12/03/2008 Cons: Leg grippers are loose Best Uses: Spinning Classes Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The leg grippers are really loose compared to other brands. I first bought the size larger but I was drowning in them. After exchanging them for the smaller size I realized the shorts were completely different than the original pair. Different hang tags, different (much wider) pad, etc. Apparently no two pairs are the same which makes it hard to rate this product.

By skirgrl from CA on 11/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good Padding Cons: Haven't worn them enough Best Uses: Commuting, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I read the reviews and was a little bit wary about the leg openings, but I have really big thighs from years of ski racing and rowing. These shorts fit just about right without pinching or being too tight at the opening. They are, in fact, just on the verge of being too big (but not quite). So if you have (very) big quads, these will probably be a good fit for you. I haven't worn them enough to comment on durability or amount of padding.
