By JWA from Trussville, AL on 09/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's hard to find such a well made, simply designed, comfortable jacket. Everything these days is made of plastic and full of static electricity. This one is all natural fibers. Nice, lightweight jacket.
Runs quite large, quality ok By flicker from Maine on 08/26/2009 Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Actually, I think it runs more than a full size large. I usually wear a large, and the large was like a tent on me. The medium fits well, but still could be considered a bit too big.

Very good, if not perfect, and a bargain By Cricket, after Bill Rigney from Bronx, NY on 06/20/2009 Cons: Eyelet stitching poor Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Climate, Running Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I run to the supermarket, shop, and run back.
So, large pockets are important to me as I load them with groceries to carry less or nothing in
my arms.
By hunterdan from Indiana on 06/16/2009 Best Uses: Bird Hunting, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Will use this coat for yard work and light hunting. Does not have any shell storage or bloodproof game pouch. Excellant construction as with all Columbia clothing. Should be great for early season hunts. Roomy body and sleeves aids in body movement.
Columbia upland game coat By Quartersawn white oak from Upstate New York on 06/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Maching washable too, Subtle leather detailing, Very nice tailoring, Warm Best Uses: Bird Hunting, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this coat for pheasant hunting during fall '09 and found rear game pouch lined with fabric that I assume is moisture and stain proof. Otherwise this coat is well tailored with adequate pocket placement and quantity. Clearly a well thought out design. Very nice fit and finish. Nice interior lining. Roomy to allow rapid arm movement for hunting small game. Almost too good looking to wear pheasant hunting. If that game pouch resists blood staining this coat is excellent and gets that fifth star. That it is an '05 design means nothing. Some things are just timeless.
