By Tehilla from Brooklyn, NY on 10/12/2009 Cons: Cheap Fabric, Low Quality Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Zipper seemed cheap, material seemed ready to fall apart. Definitely not the good deals I usually get here! Sent it back.
By comfortable but classic from Denver on 10/01/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like this skirt. I wear it with boots and sweaters when it is chilly and with Chacos and a t-shirt on summer days. It is very versatile! It does fit about one size larger but it depends on how you like the fit. It sits more on my hips than my waist and that is okay with me. I have two in the white white and the plum.
By Tallyz mom from Bellingham, WA on 09/29/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, Nice Color, Versatile Cons: Cheap Fabric, Thin Fabric Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Cute skirt, but a little on the cheap side. Also, I could tell that the zipper won't last for long. I returned it. I ordered smaller than my usual 10 but it was hard to get it over my hips!
By Serenity from Western Pennsylvania on 09/28/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the soft fabric, and the color is perfect for fall, but I re-hemmed the skirt because the frayed hem was too casual for work. I've read others' comments about the zipper, and I agree. The zipper is working fine, but it feels a little lightweight for some of the thicknesses of fabric. I think that if I'm careful when I zip, it should be fine. Have worn it three or four times without any problem. I would have given this a higher rating if it didn't need re-hemmed. If you're looking for that frayed look, this is a great skirt.

I guess "you get what you pay for." I returned mine.

This skirt ROCKS...for me By yumyumdeena from Richmond, VA on 08/27/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This skirt is PERFECT for me, being a slight pear-shape. I did size down one to the 6 as per the suggestion, and the fit is great. This is a classic A-line and hits just below my knee (but I'm almost 5'10"). Being a "pear", the skirt skimmed over my hips in perfect symmetry, with no binding. I do agree w/ some other reviews regarding the quality. I have no zipper problems, but this skirt will definitely need some TLC in the wash to keep from unraveling. The courdory fabric is still light-weight to provide slight stretch and give, yet without becoming too big as the day wears on. The frayed hem definitely lends to a casual look. I love this skirt and would purchase additional ones if my size was left. NOTE: The purple color online is innacurate. It is more like a dirty (gray-toned) light eggplant shade. Online it has looked either like a true light lavender or confused with the sea-spray shade, which are both inaccurate colors.
Not bad for very casual wear By Jen from DC Metro area on 08/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Nice Color Cons: Poor Fit, Thin Fabric, Wrinkles Easily Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not bad for lounging around. It definitely runs big, and the fabric is pretty thin so it doesn't really drape the way you expect a corduroy skirt to drape. It's very soft though, and cute for casual wear. It was very inexpensive on this site, so I'm happy with it considering what I paid.
