By Greatdanemama from San Diego, CA. on 07/17/2008 Cons: Decollete too low for day, Fit on the rest too big, Fit on top too tight, Poor Fit Best Uses: Cocktail Party, On a Date, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Classic, Eclectic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The style seemed appealing on the site, as was the print. The actual fit was terrible! If you are endowed on top, the fit would be too small and tight, and too revealing for daytime use without a cami underneath. The rest of the dress was too big and loose. I was very disappointed, and consequently returned the item.

It made the transition from work to an evening out with ease. It is also comfortable, which is a big bonus!

Material not as nice as expected By tuba from Orlando, FL on 03/02/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Casual Work Days, On a Date Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The proportions on this dress were not flattering for me, maybe because I'm very short (5'1"). The material is not the same fabric as the tunic and top on the site. I returned this because I didn't like the fabric too much and also because it wasn't very flattering to my body.
By girlagenda from chicago, il on 02/13/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Daytime, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm only a B cup, and I ordered an 8 which pretty much always fits me. Due to the cut and high waistband of this dress you have to pull your... um... "bust" above the high waistband. Have you ever heard the phrase "top shelf"? That's what the dress makes you look like. Without a tank underneath (which really doesn't look bad, I think when I get the larger size I will wear one anyway)it's almost indecent. I do like the material, it's not a charmeuse which most dresses of this type are. It's a nice light cotton with a satin type edging trim.
No give in fabric--Bad for big busts By syovo from LA, CA on 02/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Wrinkle Resistant Cons: No give, Poor Fit, Small bust, Small shoulders Best Uses: Formal Events, Going Out Describe Yourself: athletic, Comfort-oriented, Sexy, Stylish Length: Feels true to length Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The dress is very nice-looking, but if you have a larger bust (I'm a 38 large C) or shoulders (current or ex-gymnasts, swimmers, etc) it may be too tight up top. The fabric has no stretch to it, so there's not much leeway. I'm generally a 12, but I couldn't reach my arms forward in this, and my chest looked fine from the front, but from the side you could see my stuff was being squished. Otherwise it's quite nice, and if you don't have any of the above issues, it's likely to be a flattering and comfortable cut.
By Walker of dogs from Roswell, New Mexico on 01/06/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Best Uses: Can make casual, Formal Events, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Length: Feels true to length Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very pretty design...nice combination of fabrics. Could be worn with turtleneck and tights for a casual look and in cooler weather.
Too fancy for office or daytime. Good value.

This may become my most reached-for item By JS from New York, NY on 01/03/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Exotically Elegant, Versatile, Very flattering, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Can be dressed up or down, Formal Events, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Length: Feels true to length Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This dress makes an instant statement: it is artistic, becoming, and very comfortable too. It defies categorization as dressy or casual, and can be worn in any season. A real find!
By Chazz from San Francisco, CA on 12/27/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Stylish, Versatile and Great Best Uses: Formal Events, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Length: Feels true to length Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The fabric is a bit stiff when you first try it on (it is a cotton) but it drapes beautifully after wearing for an hour or so. It is lined so don't worry about needing a slip. The neck line was a bit too plunging for me so I paired it with a chocolate brown stretch cami. I wore it with knee high boots and had so many compliments (5 the first day I wore it- all from strangers)
