By Liz Gee from Boston on 12/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Nice Fabric, Retro Best Uses: summer dress, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This dress is fantastic. I love it. It fits me so well that I'm afraid if I gained 10 pounds it wouldn't anymore! I wear a size 4, and this is a fitted size 4. I am a little scared truth be told that it is 100% cotton - I really hope it does not shrink, but I will wash in cold and hang dry.
Anyway, I must not have read the reviews well enough because though it is a wrap dress, it doesn't functionally wrap around, it is sewn and has a side zip. I like this level of security, not worrying it will pop open and I am not experiencing the typical gap in the bust area from a wrap style top.
Really nice print, soft and surprisingly substantial fabric.
I don't know if it's fair to put "shows cleavage" in the negative - but I just thought it would cover a bit more; this would not be appropriate for me for all occasions. Not sure what cami would work with this, in keeping the beautiful retro fashion.
Normally a high waist does not flatter me, but I thought it just looks like a retro cut, and it is very flattering. I have a small waist and belly but am booty-ful. My husband LOVES this dress and enthusiastically appreciates it.
Where is your size 6, STP? I would try that and worry less about the dress shrinking.

It is still way too small! Not even close.
By SkirtQueen from VA on 07/14/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, High Quality, Versatile Cons: Color Not As Expected, Wrinkles Easily Best Uses: Church, Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend, Outdoor Picnic Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic, Comfort-oriented Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've worn this to church and for outdoor birthdays and picnics during hot Virginia summers; it's a nice dress to throw on and not worry about having to adjust while preparing or serving food. If you are broad-shouldered, this dress may be tight across the upper back. If you have a shorter torso, the dress's waistline should fall directly at your own waistline, but otherwise it's likely to fall at or above the bottom of your ribcage. If you have a longer torso and shorter legs, the dress's waistline makes your legs look longer.
Fits the fantasy version of me By Barbie from Sitka, AK on 07/05/2008 Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Cocktail Party, On a Date, On The Weekend, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The waist on this dress is insanely small. My hips might be a bit curvier than most, but a size 8, which in normal universes is me, wouldn't allow me in. I kept looking for a button I needed to undo, but alas, nothing doing.

By mdc from san francisco, ca on 06/12/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering Best Uses: Comfort-Oriented, On a Date, On a picnic, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic, Eclectic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the fabric is light and thin, with a thin lining below. it's not see through, just a nice light summer dress. the waist feels a bit snug, but it's a beautiful dress and my boyfriend really likes when i wear it.
By no nickname from LR, AR on 06/05/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Comfort-Oriented, On a Date, On The Weekend, Special Occasions, To Work Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the dress, the design is classic. However, the torso is small and I have a tiny waist and torso. And shopping is generally a problem. I bought a size 4 and I usually wear a 2 so if you are interested buy a size larger. It does have plunging neckline so be aware.
