The skirt flows nicely, and the fabric is of good quality, but the pattern is inelegant without being fun, and the dress just doesn't come together. I'm very slim and can wear either a 0 or 2, but this pushed the limits. A size bigger probably wouldn't help as it would just make the fit more awkward.

I usually wear a 6-8 in a dress, so seeing the other postings on the size running small I ordered a 10. It was way too small, so I returned it and got a 12. The fit is better at this size. I believe another person said the waist was long, which I was happy about since I am long waisted, but the dress seems to hit me about 1-1 1/2 inches above my natural waist. Other than that it is a very nice dress. I'm keeping it and will deal with the waist issue because of the beauty and quality of the dress.

I am rather small on top, long-waisted, and fuller in the hips, so the cut is perfect for me, and flattering. The fabric is lovely and it is clearly top quality. This is one of my favorite brands of dresses.

I am usually between 8 and 10, but ordered a 10 first as recommended. The waist sat right under the chest, and the dress was very tight. then I tried a 12, and then a 14, and even with altering (which I was wiling to do) this would not have worked. So, it's not a size issue, the cut is simply not working. Maybe if you are super slim, give it a try. I love this company, and have other dresses that fit just fine.

The more I was disappointed at the fit. I already ordered a size larger, as recommended by previous reviews- and still. The waist was right under the breasts, the bow-tie just did not stay right. I so wanted it to fit and look good, but I had to send it back. I usually love this designer, but somehow the seamstress must have messed up here! Too bad.
