I received so many compliments the first time I wore it. The colors in the dress are vibrant and beautiful, too. The jersey is a wonderful weight and wore well through a busy day. I let the belt hit at the low-point of the belt-loops, and it sits above my own waist, but this doesn't seem to detract from the appearance, because I receive many compliments.

However belt is too high for a long torso. I had to return. I would recommend dress to someone without a long torso.

However, not so much. For one, the sleeves were cut at an odd angle that did not flatter and was uncomfortable. To be fair, I am broad-shouldered and have full upper arms so if you have skinny arms, it may work. The color was lovely. I am still not sure I liked the horizontal stripes, but the dress was high quality.

It changed the whole appearance of the dress when I got rid of the "cheaper",wide belt. And the dress makes you look good if you have the right size.
