The fit is absolutely fantastic. It can be worn to church, to tea, to the theater, to dinner, etc. It can easily transition from day to night. It's feminine and practical at the same time. Good buy. I plan to get a lot of wear out of this one.

It looks and fits great. It's a terrific buy! I am now a fan of Donna Ricco dresses.
By Sassy in SF from San Francisco on 03/20/2009 Best Uses: Night Out, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'd describe myself as short-waisted and on the "zaftig" side, and this dress makes me feel like Marilyn Monroe! I think it's a very flattering cut except for the layers of wrap around the ribcage area - while the empire bodice is comfortable despite being formfitting, it's a shame to bulk out an otherwise hourglassish silhouette with that extra fabric. Nevertheless, when I tried it on, my boyfriend's reaction was ... quite emphatic! I'll be wearing it to a free-spirited wedding this summer and I just hope he can behave himself! ;)
By Matthew B. from Liberty NY on 08/11/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Cocktail Party, To Work Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Classic, Eclectic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Flattering and cute. I bought it for my wife who is high-waisted and it looks great. The adjustable straps are a big plus. High-quality.
By beckyleeprice from Pittsburgh, PA on 07/06/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, High Quality Best Uses: Barbecue, Beach, Casual Work Days, On a Date, On The Weekend, Parties Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Eclectic, traveler Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This dress is really cute, very vintage looking. The bodice is sort of built up, so unless you are very busty you don't really need a bra, which is good because strapless bras are such a nuisance. The only drawback is that it's a woven cotton, so it's not travel-friendly and will need to be ironed.
It looks great with red sandals. This dress looks like something Marilyn Monroe would have worn in "The Seven Year Itch".
By Yaya to the three from Clearwater, FL on 03/31/2008 Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Classic, Eclectic, Sexy, Trendy Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Did not run big for me and I ordered next size up as recommended. Not what I expected as far as appearance.
