It's quite long, I'm 5'8" and it covers my calves, but I don't plan to shorten it, although I'll wear it with heels. The peachy-pink color is very flattering as is the soft drapey fabric. A full slip is also necessary, and voila, a great summer dress for all but the most casual occasions.
By Libby from Alexandria, VA on 07/15/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Best Uses: At home, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Stylish Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The color is almost exactly as depicted. A very simple, long (very long) dress. The fabric is of the quality one expects from Joan Vass, however on account of the pale color and because the fabric clings to the body, the dress reveals rather more of one's phsique than one might wish. Thus, it seems to me to be more of a wear around the house sort of dress, than something to appear in public in. Also, I should note that the dress is somewhat narrow in the hip/tummy area.
