It has a side zip, though and it's hard to zip it. It gets stuck about 2/3 of the way up and you really have to work at it to pull it up. Also the print on the spaghetti straps is missing on one side. All in all, though, I'd recommend it.

I orginally ordered my size but it was too big so I exchanged it for a size down and it fits perfect.

The extra pleats around the waist made me look larger than I really am. The color palate of the lighter dress also looked washed out on me with my dark hair and light complection.

Not sure what people were talking about concerning the straps - mine are normal...The dress does have an empire waist, so I can understand the pregnant comment. However, it didn't make me feel that way. Overall, I think it's a great summer dress. I plan on wearing it to a graduation bbq and will wear it to casual summer gatherings.
