Prettier on a headless model than on me. By Boxer Mom from Chicago, IL on 03/18/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Thin Fabric Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Wrong style for me; I guess I need a dress with a waistline and not an empire-style waist.

By vabopper from lexington, va on 11/17/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice dress and good value. I am typically a size 4, but ordered a size 2 because I am small busted and often end up needing a cami under dresses so that they aren't flopped open. The size 2 fits great (I am a 32C bra) through the bust and waist. This dress can go very casual with a pair of sandals or a little dressed up with a pair of heels and a pashmina. Some other reviewers commented that it made them look pregnant. I wouldn't say that I look pregnant, but I can see where they are coming from. It might be a little unflattering around the tummy for some. It is quite pleated just below the empire waist.
FYI, I couldn't tell from the online picture, but the black with white has a fair amount of tan/beige in the paisley part of the dress, in case that matters to someone.
