But, the fit was awful. My daughter who is a size 2 couldn't even get a good fit. The sleeves were too tight and the dress hung awkwardly in different places

From the front, it looked great. The large bow in the back looked like a little girl's dress; it didn't fit with the cocktail style.

She love it so much that she is going to wear it to Church and anywhere else she can! She looks beautiful in the dress, and it makes her feel good about herself.

The sizing was pretty much the same. However, the black & white dress's zipper opened only half way, so it's quite a feat to struggle in and out. The red and white fabric was of much poorer quality, coarser, with a yellowish background and some of the red print is actually smeared.- Since I liked the fit and quality of the black and white one, I ordered a replacement and asked that the zipper be checked before sending. This third dress has a working zipper alright, but the fabric quality again is quite different and the sizing completely off; it feels like one or two sizes larger although it is also marked size 8. I give up.

I am not sure I am going to be able to pull this dress off unless I am at a theme party because it is so over-the-top retro.

But it was very difficult to get on and almost impossible to get off due to the small zipper (on the side just under the sleeve.)
