Deceiving picture, but still cute. By monabee from Paso Robles, CA on 01/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering Best Uses: Going Out, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This dress looked so fancy in the picture, but when it arrived, it was made out of light weight cotton, which is not what it looked like in the photo. The cut and style of the dress seems like it should be made out of cotton chintz or something heavier. That being said, it's still very cute, and dressy looking although I wouldn't wear it when it was cold, you would freeze!
By thrifty1 from GA on 12/29/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Versatile Best Uses: Going Out, Special Occasions Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This dress is very flattering: a form-fitted bodice and a full skirt. The cotton breathes easily, though it does tend to wrinkle.
By SJN from Martha's Vineyard - MA on 12/25/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Nice Fabric, Versatile Best Uses: Going Out, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm generally an average size 4/6. Not above/below average up top or below the waist. I was a little worried about fit when I read some of the reviews, but ordered this dress in a 6 and love the fit. Very classic style, great pattern. I love it!
By Saturn from Annapolis, MD on 12/22/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, High Quality, Nice Fabric Best Uses: Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very beautiful dress. It feels tight going on, but once it is on it is very comfortable. I wish the sash went all the way around. You can tie it in front or in back, but either way, your other half has no sash. I wore this to a wedding and hte bride told me it was beautiful!
Nice--IF you get the right fabric By Trout from Royal Oak, MI on 12/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering Best Uses: Going Out, Special Occasions, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It felt tight in the shoulders, so I exchanged for the next size up. The material was completely different and definitely inferior. The smaller size had a rayon in the fabric and laid beautifully, the exchange was in a course potato-sack like cotton that stuck to itself. The larger size even had a pink hue to the white fabric which was especially evident when next to the first one sent.
So I kept the smaller size. Just won't lift my arms.
By Nat from Albany, NY on 12/17/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Nice Fabric Cons: Color Not As Expected Best Uses: Going Out, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am 5'7, weigh 170 and have a medium built with a C cup. This dress fit me very well without any problems. The dress pretty much hides any imperfections of my unathletic body and everyone complimented me on the dress. The only unexpeced finding was that the background of my red and white dress was not really white, but more of a peach-white. Still, the dress is nice.
for a young girl with no chest By sally from az on 12/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Fabric Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: the fit was very strange. might be good for a young girl, or someone very flat-chested. hips were ok, but bust was two to three inches too small.
nice fabric though.

By sarah from az on 11/24/2008 Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: strange shape. fit in hips, but way too tight in bust and arms.
It is nicely made, and cute style, but made to fit a kid without a bust maybe?
By Vintage Dress Lover from Santa Monica on 11/22/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, High Quality, Nice Fabric Best Uses: Going Out, Special Occasions, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It just feels tight in the upper chest and sleeves. Since I tend to slouch, this dress keeps me standing straight then its not so tight. I get compliments every time I wear this dress.
