Might be nice if I could get into it By Nifty Nana from Malvern, AR on 10/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Color Best Uses: Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The zipper would not unzip, therefore I am just guessing about the size. The arms did seem a bit tight, but then I was stuck in the dress. I didn't notice that it had a zipper until I tried to put it on. Once out, I would say that the zipper, although nonfunctioning was very unobtrusively applied.
good product for the price By cs from NY on 10/12/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Best Uses: Special Occasions, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A slight modification made the dress work for me. I got a lot of nice comments about it, but the shoulders and sleeves were too tight to be comfortable without some modification. It was still a great value, and I would buy from this manufacturer again.
Classic look, great bargain By a student from Arlington, VA on 09/28/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, Nice Color, Versatile Best Uses: Easy to dress up or down, Night Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The back across the shoulders was a little tight, and the sleeves were much too tight - but that was easily fixed by taking out the seam at the cuffs and re-hemming. From there it fit much better. I like to wear it with the sashes crossed around the front and then tied in the back.
By Rochester from New York on 06/24/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is heavier than I anticipated, and runs a little small in the shoulder area, all around though it's a great dress.
By Corgi Mom from La Grange, IL on 06/01/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Best Uses: Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was so enamored by the design of the dress, and since I typically have a problem with clothes being too big (I'm a 0 or 2, depending), I was not worried when I saw the reviews about it being too small. I ordered the size 2 and no kidding, I couldn't even get the darn thing on!! I spent 20 minutes looking for another zipper to undo! Cute dress though. Too bad. Haven't decided if I'll take a chance on a 4 or not.
By Luncheoner from Essex, CT on 05/01/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Order size 6 for size 4 Cons: Not very soft, Thin Fabric, Wrinkles Easily Best Uses: Luncheon, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After reading other reviews I took a chance on the size. I wear size 2 or 4 and ordered a 6. It fits pretty well. The cotton is not very soft nor dressy, but I like the hang. The collar is a stylistic oddity, but I need a collar for my long neck. One zipper under armpit helps taking the dress off, but it's not easy.
Far too small for a small woman By Littlejen from Evergreen, CO on 04/08/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Color Cons: Cheap Fabric, Poor Fit, Strange fit Best Uses: Night Out, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an adorable dress but I have a large ribcage and it was terribly tight in the chest an rib area. My daughter, who is very petite, tried it on and also experienced the same problem. I'm a 4 and it was a 2, but with a 0 chest and torso. Shame, because I would've kept it in a heartbeat if would've fit either of us.
Great style inside a stiff exterior By roro the realtor from Valencia, Ca. on 03/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The style is flattering. Would have been nice in a dressier, less casual fabric. The bodice is tight fitting for anyone with a bust-line.
By Anna from Houston, TX on 03/19/2009 Pros: Nice Color, Nice Fabric Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I should have listened to other people's comments on the sleeves. They are unbelievably skinny. I barely could get the dress back off after trying it on. I kind of liked the flared skirt, but the print reminded me a little of a tablecloth once I had it on.
Attractive, but difficult to wear By Maria from North Lauderdale, Florida on 03/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Best Uses: Night Out, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved this dress but had to return it because although it fit well once I had it on, it was very difficult to put on and even more so to take off since there are no zippers or buttons. The neckline was also a bit too low for me.
